HOERBIGER publishes Sustainability Report 2024

The HOERBIGER Group has released its Sustainability Report for the 2024 reporting year. It offers a comprehensive overview of the company's progress and initiatives across the areas of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), emphasizing its unwavering commitment to a sustainable future.

Building on the successes of the previous year, HOERBIGER achieved further significant milestones in 2024: the share of renewable energy in total electricity procurement increased to 43%, up 9 percentage points. At the same time, direct CO₂ emissions (Scope 1 and 2) were reduced by 5%, despite a 4% growth in revenue. A key achievement was the successful implementation of additional solar projects at sites in China, India, and Austria, generating a total of 2.6 GWh of renewable energy in 2024.

HOERBIGER’s sustainability strategy is based on a holistic approach. Alongside reducing its own environmental footprint, the company is focused on developing sustainable products and solutions, promoting diversity, enhancing occupational safety, and investing in employee training. HOERBIGER is also actively preparing for the implementation of the new European reporting requirements (CSRD) and working towards the introduction of a standardized ESG reporting system.

By publishing its third consecutive Sustainability Report, HOERBIGER continues to document its progress transparently and provides a clear impetus for responsible, future-oriented corporate governance.
